The Manna Resource Centre provides a range of opportunities for
people of all ages to meet their educational, employment, social,
leisure needs. The centre is particularly interested in helping
African and African Caribbean people and asylum seekers and refugees
in Leicester and surroundings to access resources to promote
education, employment, and community development and to tackle
social exclusion issues. The centre is fully operational. The
projects at the centre include :

students who qualify to receive tuition

Employment Support
The project will assess individual learning
needs, set up Individual Learning Plans and
provide work focused training to increase
learners skills. The project will then
prepare the learners for work search skills
through mock interviews, CV preparation and
work experience placement to improve their
chance of getting into employment.

Fees
At Manna Resource Centre we are
committed to ensuring that the cost of
entry onto any course is reasonable and
gives good value for money. All fees are
for one full academic year and all
students are responsible for ensuring
that their fees are paid in advance
before the academic year begins. Funding
support for higher education students
with learning difficulties or
Disabilities may be available through
the Disabled Students
Allowance (DSA) Awarded by Local
Education Authority (LEA).
